Care with the Cure of Souls

"Above all, the leader of the community must not show too great a concern for the fleeting and temporal things of this world, neglecting or treating lightly the welfare of those entrusted to him. Rather, he should keep in mind that he has undertaken the care of souls for whom he must give an account." ~ Rule of St. Benedict, Chapter 2

About Me

My photo
Jared C. Cramer
I'm a priest in the Episcopal Church currently serving as Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church in my hometown of Grand Haven, MI. On my best days, I try to listen with people for God's call in our world. Our bishop in Western Michigan is trying to cultivate a more Benedictine understanding of Christian life together. I'm trying to be faithful to Christ and my parish community through this lens.
